ENERGY
Since 2010 we have installed "tailor-made" photovoltaic panels at both our production sites, to produce clean energy from renewable sources and allow us to avoid unnecessarily wasting energy. These photovoltaic panels are also monitored every day to guarantee the perfect balance between industrial efficiency and a lower environmental impact. Partly thanks to this project, we obtained environmental management certification in accordance with the ISO 14001 regulation, which guarantees our commitment to implementing procedures and activities that support the environment.

COMPOSTABLE CAPSULES
We have even extended the process of environmental sustainability to our sales channels. In fact, we have been producing 100% compostable capsules with a SEEDLING DIN CERTCO certification, an international recognition that guarantees the compostability of our Diva coffee capsules, Sophia e Marilyn.
A material is considered compostable when, after being broken down, whether naturally or industrially, it transforms into compost which is generally used as a fertiliser in agriculture or for potting flowers and plants.
ORGANIC COFFEE
Organic coffee is the perfect combination of the pleasure of drinking an aromatic drink and the awareness of making a sustainable choice, for the environment and for your health. It is a commitment to ethical farming practices, respect for the environment and promotion of health. In 2020, the company obtained the Certification of Compliance with the Provisions Contained in Reg. 1CE 834/2007, which gives us the qualification to process and package organic coffee. Our organic blend is made from different varieties of Arabica coffee, washed and dried in the sun, coming from Central America and certified as organic throughout the whole production chain.
TREEDOM
Since 2021, we have supported Treedom: in collaboration with them, we have planted hundreds of coffee plants in agroforestry systems across the planet. Over its first 10 years of life, a coffee plant absorbs significant amounts of CO2 from the atmosphere: the effects of this activity are higher the more trees are put in the condition to be able to grow and live for a long time. Planting a tree doesn't just help the planet, it also provides concrete support for local communities, offering them the opportunity for an income and enriching their diet.
